Two supplements I suggest you need as you age are Omega 3 and Vitamin D.
Omega 3 is an essential fatty acid that we need to get from food such as oily fish or supplements. It’s important for heart health, joint pain and great for skin, nails and hair to name but a few of the benefits. Vitamin D has been found to be essential for healthy bones and more recently to prevent cough and colds and stop asthmatic attacks. Countries with the least amount of the UVB-the sunlight when it hits our skin that makes vitamin D- have the highest rates of cancer. Many people are deficient in vitamin D in the UK because we mainly work indoors in the summer when we could make vitamin D and therefore need to supplement.
